This is a really easy one for me. I'd time it so that I came to be an "adult" late in the summer of love. I have always felt that I was born in the wrong era. If I could have my way, I'd dress like a "hippy" now. (To the extent that I can, I do already.) I've also always been very sympathetic (though not without my criticisms) to the general politics of the time/group. Of course, pot does nasty things to me so not sure how that part would work out.
If it wasn't for how horridly women (and lower classes) were treated in the Victorian era, that would be my time as I just love the formality and style and grace of the time. |
